Peter G. Wilson

Peter G. Wilson, Chairman and CEO of Sonwil Family of Companies, a family-owned Logistics & Transportation (3PL) and Real Estate Company, services clients regionally, nationally, and internationally. With over 50 years’ experience in the Warehouse, Distribution, Fulfillment, Transportation, Freight Brokerage and Real Estate businesses, Peter continues to drive improved strategic and technological innovations to remain at the forefront of the market verticals that Sonwil serves.

Peter is the Immediate Past Chairman of the IWLA (International Warehouse Logistics Association) and served as Committee Chairman of the Food Safety, member of the Security and Government Affairs Council’s. He also served as Director and Chairman of Underwriting of the $76M IWLAIC (International Warehouse Logistics Association Insurance Captive), a privately held Captive insurance company.

Additionally, Peter is a member of WERC (Warehousing Education and Research Council) which he has been a presenter at the annual conventions and a Board Governor and Vice President of The Country Club of Buffalo. Other interests include being a Life Member of Safari Club International and past President of the WNY Chapter, past Officer of EMW Soccer Club, and Founder and Immediate past President of the Iroquois Chief Hockey Club.

Peter and his wife Deborah of 40 years have three sons, two daughters and six grandchildren. He currently resides in Elma, NY.
